Since inception in 2015, Antara Foundation's programs have been running in three states of India - Rajasthan (2015), Chhattisgarh (2019) and Madhya Pradesh (2019). Our approach to begin operations in a new state is to run our interventions in a few focus districts initially and aim to scale throughout the state thereafter. This allows us to garner feedback, tailor interventions to the specific state context and test for potential impact.
Interventions scaled up across all 33 districts of Rajasthan, covering more than 46,000 villages and more than 130,000 frontline workers
Currently working in five districts in Madhya Pradesh and one district in Chhattisgarh with an aim for state-wide scale-up, to cover 75,000 villages and 300,000 frontline workers
